Web Accessibility

This website was created with full web accessibility in accordance with the WAI guidelines. In practice, the criteria for web accessibility are not static, but change with the respective state of the art (e.g. through the further development of so-called screenreaders, zoom software, etc.). We make every effort to keep the graphic version of this website freely accessible. Moreover, we also offer a text version with automatic synchronization and identical update status. With the help of external experts, we submit the Internet sites to a continuous process of improvement with respect to web accessibility. Disclaimer

The Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection (StMUV) has compiled and examined all the information provided in its sphere of competence to the best of its knowledge and belief. However, no guarantee is assumed for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality and continuous availability of the information provided.

Notwithstanding the provisions of § 675 (2) of BGB (German Civil Code) the information provided shall be subject to the following disclaimer:

The Free State of Bavaria and its staff shall not be liable for any damage arising as a result of using or failing to use the information offered on the Internet site of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection. The disclaimer shall not apply, where the provisions of § 839 BGB (Liability in case of breach of official duty) are applicable.

No liability will be assumed for any damage caused by computer viruses or the installation or use of software when calling up or downloading data.

Internet pages specifically referred to by quoting names reflect the views and knowledge of the authors.

The Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection explicitly reserves the right to amend, supplement or delete individual web pages or the entire site or to discontinue publication of the same on a temporary or permanent basis without giving special notice.

Links and references: The Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection is responsible only for its “own contents? provided for the purpose of use, pursuant to the applicable laws.

A distinction must be made between such own contents and cross-references (“links?) to the web pages of other providers. By providing the cross-reference in the form of a “link?, the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection enables access to “contents of third parties?. By means of the cross-reference, the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection only facilitates access to such contents for use. It assumes no responsibility for such “third-party? contents, as it does not cause the transmission of the information, nor does it select the recipients of the transmitted information or has it selected or altered the information transmitted. Furthermore, the downloading and linking method chosen does not automatically result in this “third-party information? being placed in an intermediate memory for a temporary period, so that this also does not involve any responsibility on the part of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection a for such third-party contents.

On first linking up with such Internet sites, the editors of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection have, however, checked whether the third-party contents could give rise to any liability under civil or penal law. As soon as the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection discovers or is notified by other parties that a specific site, to which it has provided a link, does incur liability under civil or penal law, it will immediately remove the reference to this site, where this is technically feasible and reasonable.

The respective provider of the site, to which the link referred, shall be solely liable for any illegal, defective or incomplete contents and in particular for any damage arising as a result of using or failing to use information provided by third parties.

Data Protection (Protocol Journals)

The web server of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection is operated by the Bavarian State Agency for Statistics and Data Processing (webmaster@www.bayern.de), St.-Martin-Straße 47, 81541 München, postal address: 80228 München.

Whenever an Internet file is requested, the following access data are saved in the Bavarian State Agency for Statistics and Data Processing:

  • the page, from which the file was requested
  • the name of the file called up
  • the date and the time of the request
  • the volume of data transmitted
  • the access status (file transmitted, file not found, etc.)
  • the description of the type of web browser or operating system used
  • the IP address of the requesting computer.

The data saved are required exclusively for technical or statistical purposes; no comparison is made with other data stocks nor are any data or extracts therefrom passed on to third parties.

After analysis of the annual accesses, the data journals are deleted. The data are analyzed on a monthly and annual basis and the journals are in each case deleted in January of the following year. The analysis and deletion are carried out by members of the staff of the Bavarian State Agency for Statistics and Data Processing on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection.

If you intend to send us an e-mail with contents meriting protection, we urgently recommend that it be encrypted, in order to prevent any access by unauthorized persons and falsification during transmission. To encrypt such files, you will need the software “Pretty Good Privacy? (PGP), which can be obtained free of charge in the Internet together with our public PGP key available here. Please use only this key to encrypt your e-mail addressed to us (poststelle@stmug.bayern.de), as we will otherwise not be able to read your e-mail.

Subscribers to the Newsletters can themselves cancel their subscription at any time; the e-mail addresses will then automatically be deleted.
